Every December, Midwest Concussion Clinic releases a brand-new Christmas Cartoon to bring one simple mission to life:
Make the invisible visible again — through storytelling, humor, and concussion education.
Since 2020, our Christmas cartoons have helped thousands of people feel seen during one of the most challenging times of the year for concussion recovery. What started as a “crazy idea” to combine concussion education with Christmas has become one of our most meaningful yearly traditions.
This year, by popular demand, Buddy the Elf joins the MCC universe for a brand-new story:
ELF: A Concussion Story.
Follow Buddy all month long as he travels to the big city in search of real concussion care. Along the way he’ll meet new friends, maybe some familiar faces, and navigate the ups, downs, confusion, and hope that come with trying to find proper support after a concussion.
Each chapter blends education, empathy, and holiday fun — helping patients, parents, supporters, and providers understand concussion recovery in a way that’s simple, human, and actually enjoyable to learn.
Throughout the entire month of December, new chapters of ELF: A Concussion Story will be posted right here on this page.
This page is your home for this year’s full Christmas Cartoon story.
